This reminded me that it’s not uncommon for deaf people to think the sun is very loud, especially during hot days. It’s obviously not scientifically logical, but I really understand it. It can feel loud in a way.

It’s perfectly logical. The Sun is loud as shit. Or it would be if there was air to transmit the sound.
Imagine a room of deaf people. Someone farts. Nobody would ever figure out who did it.
Unless their other senses are sufficiently heightened.
As someone with anosmia, I can confirm my farts don’t smell.
I used to ask my anosmic mom if it smelled like roses. She uses that line frequently now.
