Losing all the telemetry data of the landing is super suspicious

Not really, how many times have straightforward cock-ups happened with the government in your life? Large organisations fuck up constantly in mundane ways, history skews far more in favour of cock-ups than conspiracies.

Also if the moon landings were fake, the Soviets absolutely would have known and revealed it to the world.

Cockups happen all the time, but not on mankinds most impressive achievement.

I’m not saying the landings were fake. I’m suggesting the “live” telemetry was.

It smells of a “Dave was ment to look after that. All our other guys are doing important stuff. How can Dave mess up flipping the tape over and putting a new one on the deck. He would have to be an idiot.”
