    I never understood some adults being afraid of them. I wouldn’t voluntarily interact with one. I feel like it’s best to just respect their space. I’m not going to run from one either. We’re about ten times their size, and they’re very poorly armed. They’re also a lot less aggressive when one makes it clear that they’re unafraid of geese, if not totally unbothered.

    Yeah, i dunno. We have a mating pair that hatch goslings in the creek behind our house (like 15 yards away) every spring. The geese dont get aggressive with us, but we don’t bother them. I tend to give them some distance too if im out in the yard. We also dont try to chase them off. Maybe they “know” us and realize we’re not a threat?
