Someone from Spain can maybe give some more perspective. Would be interested in knowing if the population at large is also falling into xenophobia and nationalism. I see a lot of Europe having its nationalist anti Muslim movements strengthen in a time of anti American views. It’s like the vassals of Europe denying they are vassals of American empire and somehow still falling into the same xenophobia that America uses to justify its terrorism in West Asia.

Is there a difference here? I mean aesthetically. 9/11 was obviously a result of blowback and Trump is the leader of an entire nation. But just on its face, it’s an attack on civilian infrastructure that killed innocent people.

I’m almost glad we have reached the point in American history that we can clearly just say “yes, we are the terrorists”. The difficult part now is trying to educate the western world to realize that “we always have been”.

Trump is America with the mask off. Don’t believe me? Look at the New York times article still trying to do the old style neocon consent manufacturing to justify it as “a route for weapons”. Meanwhile the president is just saying we’re gonna bomb water infrastructure and “send them back to the stone age”.

It’s interesting to watch the gears of US Imperialism try to run its old methods of justification while our leadership has stopped playing that game.

The west needs to educate itself quickly. This is far more long lasting than Trump. The illusion of America being a “force for good” is gone. Our soft power is destroyed and our military bases are being proven to be a security risk for any nation that houses them. We’ll just take our troops out of the base, let it get bombed, and hide our troops in your civilian hotels.

Every country with an American military base needs its citizens in its streets demanding it’s removal. Your country will quickly become the nearest target for justified return fire as America continues it’s war machine.

It’s like the US war machine just decided it can act like Israel. When the entire reason Israel could “act like Israel” was because it had America protecting its image. Now, we’re just showing people that we just used Israel to do the dirty work we didn’t want to be directly associated with. I guess we gave up on that.

I really don’t know how to get this through to the “it’s just a distraction people”. But, at this point, I feel like the “distraction” people are doing the work of the Epstein class in propaganda and I should really have a copy paste for this by now. You’re focusing the entire Epstein files on one single guy AND using the Epstein files as the only crime to care about.

If you care about the Epstein files and justice for the victims then please stop focusing them entirely on an old and obese 79 year old man that will see death before justice. Especially when it’s used in a way to redirect focus from their current crimes being carried out with the US military. Lock the fuck in. This is part of it.

The Epstein files should make you realize something much more fundamental. That is, there is no justice that the current structures will bring to the criminals within them. That includes Donald Trump. Those structures of class power need to be torn down from their roots.

The same power structures of the capitalist (Epstein) ruling class that lead to the slaughter of children in the Iran, the slaughter of hundreds of thousands in Gaza, the degrading conditions of your own life, are the structures that will will protect every single person in those files from meeting justice.

I’m sorry, but at this point, the “it’s just a distraction” crowd is killing me. It feels like you still believe that if, somehow, Trump was impeached and imprisoned that that would be “justice” for the victims. You could go back to not paying attention and feel satisfied that the system works.

You know that famous USSR sniper from WW2 with 309 confirmed kills. Irans entire resistance is like that but with drones.

I know we clown on Trump for saying that their “navy” and “air force” are gone. But, it’s really just exposing the stupidity of him and the way his generals are reporting this war to him to keep him happy. He’s not really “wrong” about that if you’re talking about it from the perspective of traditional warfare. And so he is being told the positives. Because, much like fascist leaders of the past, any negative or realistic report will be considered a failure on the one reporting it.

The US is currently the equivalent of the world’s strongest and best military that has a Calvary feared around the world.

The Calvary does an amazing job riding on horseback and slaughtering what foot soldiers they can find. Killing civilians along the way to create fear in the population.

“The enemy has no Calvary” they say. “We have completely obliterated them.”

But the enemy is using snipers. The snipers are picking off important targets one by one and their presence alone is causing world trade to stop in the areas they control.

The Calvary has no way to deal with the snipers as they peak from underground, kill their target, and disappear, never to peak above ground at the point again.

One sniper even took out their fastest and most elusive horseman named F-35. Though only injured the horse may never rise again to rejoin the battle.

The Calvary, though powerful and flawless for its intended purpose, has no means of dealing with the snipers.

So, now, the leader is angry. The Calvary should have been enough. And he will soon throw his foot soldiers to the slaughter as the only words he seems to hear from his generals is “it’s just a few snipers”.
