I’m afraid that’s the point. The billionaire class wants to deploy Operation Sundial. We didn’t build a single 10 Gigaton weapon that would guarantee that no humans could survive, the politicians were too scared to do that. We built 30,000 one megaton weapons that still might do that, but maybe the people in bunkers can survive.

I should have expected that, lol.

That’s much less invasive than my interactions in person. Frequently they ask about pets or people that died.

I wish. Too many people know me. I can’t go hardly anywhere in the lower 48 without running into someone who remembers me. Seemingly always fondly, for some reason.
