Putting their own export tax/tariff, increase per unit profit to make up for lowered volume. Like, it’s a thing… Just because you haven’t heard of something or thought it thru, doesn’t mean it’s pointless…
Because no sane government would want to reduce exports.
Or moreover tax their own citizens because of the actions of another country.
