I’m disappointed the money I pay is going into this.
I rather have inbox rules for labels then energy being put into something I already have my own storage solution for.
Also, I feel like this is going to run into the problem that is, a cloud storage requires a fuck ton more bandwidth than email/calendars do, which will inevitably make tuta raise their pricing.
Proton drive’s docs are just starting to be good enough that I would recommend them, but they are far from feature parity with google’s. Just try to make a PDF of a word doc, copy cells that are used in equations to a different sheet, or create a presentation.
Tuta could be a real contender if they wanted to be.
This could be useful but it’s going to need a ton of work.
Tuta just launched their encrypted cloud storage in closed beta
Cannot believe I lived long enough to see this happening. Here we go for waiting two more years for it to become GA.
Great to see competition for Proton. Their CEO comments rubbed me the wrong way.
I am looking at them for their suite so Tuta is a solid alternative.
Mullvad VPN as standard and then a VPN that works well for streaming and sailing TBD.
